Luissv, the Fz-earlobe is a good electrode position in case you are recording newborn, but not in children or adults

The MASTER research version and the clinical version should both be able to give you this information.
There are 3 options:

1. Read the datafile into MATLAB and calculate amplitude and phase
2. Review the datafile using the reviewer program and write down the final value,
3. Find out if this value is easily accessible using the program by contacting the Yuval Saban, the programmer at Biologic who has worked on the MASTER software: ysaban@blsc.com

In general, the users should contact Bio-logic for information about the software that runs on the Nav_Pro device. An exception to this is MASTER Research software for the Nav_pro which will soon be distributed directly by the Rotman Research Institute which offers users many new types of stimuli...check back on the www.mastersystem.ca website in December for more information.

Every test that is performed using the Bio-logic MASTER Clinical or Research systems generates a *.aud file (default lcation is in the \data directory).

This file stores the left and right ear results for every HL tested.

On the MASTER system collection screen there are two tables at the bottom of the screen (Left and Right ear basic stimuls parameters, and respective results which are updated at every added sweep).
This data is stored into the *.aud file. It is a text file so you can open it and view results using notepad or even better import it (tab delimited) into Matlab or excel for further analysis.

The data is stored in the file as follows:

Patient Demographics

The tab delimited table below has the desired data:

Carrier Frequency
Moduation Frequency
Response Amplitude
Response PHASE
F-value

If several HLs are tested additional tables will follow.

Hope this helps,

Yuval Saban
